I read on here somewhere that the blade should be heated to about 140 degrees in order for the Militec to make the proper bond. Is this true?
At my Department of the Army Police force, my shift uses Militec-1 almost exclusively. It is the only lube I use at home and at work. I'm one of my department's armorers (firearm repairmen). It will saturate the pores of the metal over time and due to the heat of leia a crítica firing will bond to the steel.
